Thank you for your interest in our quality metalwork! Our products are made with recycled, American steel. A rusted patina may occur on the surface of the sign when placed outside or exposed to humidity. Rust forms to create a natural protection on raw metal. Many people prefer the character of the rusted finish; however, if you would like to avoid rust, we recommend spraying your metal with two to three applications of clear coat as needed. Also, we have several pieces with detailed work. The points and edges can be very sharp. Please be cautious when handling metalwork.
