Collection: Metal Birds

Typically, we cut from 14 gauge steel, but for these metal-feathered friends we use ⅛” thick steel. Designed to be hammered into the side of a tree, post, or fence, each bird comes in raw steel, which means there will be a natural patina that starts after a few weeks. Once the metalwork completely turns, you will be left with a beautiful, weathered look, but rest assured, these fowls won’t be flying away for many, many years to come! If you prefer to keep the silver of the metal, we recommend spraying your metalwork with two to three coats of a clear spray paint, such as Rustoleum.
