Metal Cardinal Tree Bird

Our metal tree birds are cut from 1/8” US-recycled carbon steel. They come in raw metal and are made to patina naturally. If you want to avoid the layer of rust, we recommend applying two coats of a clear Rustoleum spray paint. Because we use recycled steel, each piece is unique and may have different markings or patina. Our design includes the bottom half of a branch in order to hammer the bird into the tree. The spike only needs to go about 1/2" to an 1" into the tree and the metal cardinal will be secure.

These unique items are great gifts. Most people do a double take when they spot the cardinal in a tree. These also could be displayed on a telephone pole or fence post. We've even had customers send us pictures of the tree birds in the side of a raised garden bed or a back porch.

The cardinal iron work is approximately 16" x 7.7".
